It’s time for New Year’s Resolutions, and we’ve got some lofty goals for Zaloni. We met and exceeded our goals for 2013, so I’m confident that with a lot of dedication, energy and vision, 2014 will be an even more amazing year.
Our primary goal for the first quarter is to successfully Telecom Pack (codename Quartz), our Hadoop-based Network Analytics Solution for Telecom Service Providers. By focusing on use cases and the specific needs of service providers, we’ve developed a way for them to answer their big data questions and take Network based Analytics to a whole new level. We’ve also addressed the most common issues that can arise when implementing a Hadoop-based system, assuring rapid deployment of use cases for Customer care, Revenue and Network Operations. We’ll be releasing more information about Quartz soon.
Our launch of the Bedrock Management Platform™ last year was a major success, garnering excellent reviews in the media. In 2014 we’re going to build on that momentum by expanding on the platform, making enhancements that have proven useful to current customers and adding Applications that enable “Last Mile” use cases for Big data. We’ll be providing two updates, one in spring and one in fall.
We forecast that Zaloni will rapidly and substantially increase its customer base and establish new partnerships in 2014. We’ll be announcing a number of these partnerships with global F100 companies, primarily in the financial services, healthcare and telecom spaces. We also want to drive partner channel sales through our collaborations with IBM, Pivotal and other major players in the industry.
2013 was an incredible year of growth for Zaloni – we doubled our revenue and increased our staff by 54%. In 2014, we’re aiming for revenue growth of 90 to 100% - a large percentage of that growth will come from our Bedrock and Quartz products.
Revenue growth goes hand in hand with expansion, and Zaloni is expanding stateside and abroad. At our North Carolina headquarters we’re enhancing our leadership and adding team members at all levels, including on our Strategic Advisory Board and in our technical, development, engineering, sales and administrative departments. In India we’re adding team members to our engineering and development departments, and globally we’re expanding sales and technical support.
Our triumphs in 2013 have created a sense of energy and enthusiasm here at our North Carolina headquarters. That energy is not just internal; as we hear from more and more of you we are learning that enthusiasm for Zaloni is growing. As CEO of Zaloni, it’s a privilege to direct that energy into our future plans.
