Getting the most out of your data involves many different aspects of a data platform but ultimately boils down to access to that data. Without the right people seeing the right data, the chances of meaningful insights being derived significantly drops. That’s why we’ve put such a focus on self-service access to data. It allows users to see the correct data while never compromising the security and governance that IT has in place.

We’ve been adding some new features to our platform to help with this.

Connect to the Data Sources you Use

Gaining access to data won’t do any good if you can’t get to the data you need. So we’ve added more connections to the data sources you use day-in and day-out. Connect to an RDBMS of your choice and the Zaloni Data Platform (ZDP) will catalog the data and make it easily searchable through our integrated data catalog.

Show the Data you Want

Another function of good self-service data is being able to find the data you’ve ingested. We’ve implemented some new features to help you in this regard. Now you can show your data in either a card or table view to enhance your productivity. You also have the ability to edit the fields that are shown so you can get a better picture of the data that matters to you.

Provision Just your Data

There’s nothing worse than provisioning a large data set only to realize that the nuggets you care about are only a small portion of it. Now you’re able to only check out the data you need with enhanced filtering capabilities which will help reduce data duplication and storage costs. On top of that, we’re enabled easier SFTP access to your data so you can better share it with outside organizations.
