Zaloni Announces Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Durham, North Carolina – January 29, 2015 – Zaloni, a leading provider of peerless Hadoop software and services solutions, today announced that Dan Edelson has joined the company as it’s first full-time Chief Financial Officer. Edelson will work closely with the executive team to lead the company’s financial strategy.

Dan Edelson has served as a consultant and acting CFO to Zaloni since September 2012. During his career, Edelson has held various financial and executive positions with IBM, Intuit, Medfusion, Elumens, Community Care of North Carolina, and TruePilot. He has served on the board of several high-tech start-up companies, and as Treasurer and Board member for the Mariposa School for Children with Autism, a Cary, NC nonprofit organization from 2003 – 2007. Edelson holds an MBA from Carnegie-Mellon University, and he received his BS in Accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
