Durham, North Carolina – July 8, 2013 –Zaloni, a leading provider of peerless Hadoop software and services solutions, announced the formation of its Advisory Board and the appointment of Vic Mahadevan to the board.
The Advisory Board will work with Zaloni Senior Management to provide guidance and support on strategic initiatives as the company accelerates business growth, expands its services, and increases market share. As a member of the board, Mahadevan will work closely with the Zaloni leadership team to consult on business strategy and sales, marketing, and product plans; as well as identifying additional market opportunities for the company. The initial appointment holds a three-year term.
Mahadevan was most recently the Chief Strategy Officer at NetApp, where he led the company’s strategic plan and business development activities worldwide. “We are pleased to announce the formation of our Advisory Board. Throughout his career of more than 25 years, Mahadevan has played an integral role in several leading technology companies, including NetApp, where he served as chief strategy officer; LSI Corporation, where he was responsible for driving all aspects of product management, outbound marketing, and business alliances as Vice President of Marketing; and Deeya Energy, where he served as chief executive officer. In addition, Mahadevan has held senior management positions with leading data management companies, including BMC Software, Compaq, Ivita, and Maxxan Systems.
